Airport 42 Jefferson 14
Airport was a victim of sloppy play, two recovered onside kicks by Jefferson, and a muffed punt by an airport player. And they still managed this big of a win.Easy to tell there were two different teams out there. A slow stubborn Jefferson team, and a fast skilled Airport team, easily could have been about a 50-0 game. Not a fan of any team really, just a fan of HS football, and i just moved to the area from Jackson, but from what ive seen so far Im changing and earlier prediction of SMCC as league champs, Airport is a dominant team and should win the league outright
SMCC 20 Huron 19
Have seen both teams play and thought it would be a good game but would have never thought Huron would be up 5 with under 10 minutes left. This goes to show you that good teams (SMCC) can find a way to win.
Just waiting for the BIG airport smcc game in two weeks, should be a good one, but id have to give a slight nod to Airport 32-22
