  1. There are stats of all the wayne county teams in the News Herald paper that comes out every friday, last i checked, since you cant find any tackle stats from Riverview i thought i could fill you in on those who would crack the top in the league, Welch has 53 at linebacker, and Bosman has 59.

  2. I rest my case….I said the most important stat to track was give-away-take-away ratio and I thought I was talking to myself…

GI has 3 of the top 6 offensive stat leaders (2 #1's and 1 #2) and no one….thats right I said no one on the defensive stats.

Proof positive that champions are built on DEE – FENSE because you would thing GI are headed to the playoffs based on O stats!!!

Coach B….love the O, but the D needs JUST AS MUCH FOCUS!!!!
    NUFF SAID.

  3. "Weclowski has 71 for Huron and in second is sterling wilson with 27… the reason he makes so many tackles is because nobody else knows how to tackle"

Uhm, the reason he makes tackles is because he is a great LB and can read the ball well. Weclowski has been playing football for years and his father pretty much makes him live, sleep, and eat football.. Weclowski does what he has to do. Doesn't mean people don't know how to tackle…

  4. Freshman score: SMCC 22 Airport 29…heard airport scored real late in the game

JV score: SMCC 13 Airport 13..and yes it ended in a tie..airport scored with about 3 minutes left..and cc blocked the extra point

  5. i know this is off topic, but i have heard that there are quite a few homecomings this friday. i know jefferson has theres and i believe milan does as well along with a couple other schools..do you think this will affect the attendance at the smcc/airport game? i know navarre is still going to be packed, but i wonder if the other homecomings with affect it.

  6. Weclowski is the best LB i have seen not just because he's high in tackles. He knows the game and whene he hits you know it.

  7. Weclowski has 71 for Huron and in second is sterling wilson with 27… the reason he makes so many tackles is because nobody else knows how to tackle

  8. If you had to pick a back in the huron league to have on your team, which back would you pick? same questions for quarterbacks.

  9. yeah give the guy a break..this blog is awesome..he's doing what he can..maybe you should try and get some of that info for him..enjoy the blog and quit complaining…

  10. Tackles can be a tough stat to track. It can be subjective. Yardage and catches is much easier to track. I'm doing my best but really haven't had much co-operation from the schools. I don't have the time to track this stuff down. I will give what I have.

  11. I am taking the stats from what I currently have available. I haven't been able to track down any Jefferson or Riverview stats other than what I gather online. GI doesn't have anybody in the higher than those.

  12. i am not saying u r wrong on the airport stat, but i do no think he is taking the best from each team..on the tackles one there is nobody from jefferson, riverview or GI on the list
