Obviously I put the poll up for a reason regarding the Michigan/Alabama game. Can those of you who voted for Michigan please explain to me why the Wolverines will win the game? I just don’t see it. Now I do realize why fans vote a certain way for their team but please let’s here some solid input on why Michigan will win this game.

Michigan would stomp Arizona. Let's be for real now. You act as if Michigan is the luckiest team in the world or something. They are almost back to being a national powerhouse once again. So put the Mich/Mich State poll. Who is better???

Also, this is the first game for both teams. Do we REALLY know that bama is in sync? Do we really know anything about this year? Only thing we know is that vegas does not favor Michigan. SEC vs B1G what do you expect?

A 4 year starter at QB is in Michigan's favor. Can't over look the importance of that. He has to be the very best player on the field if M is to win.
That's what I will be looking for, the play making and leadership of a 4 year starter at QB. We have one, they don't. Maybe the only position we gave a distinct edge. He has to be the difference. Im not saying bama QB is a chump( he does have a title) but he is not a 4 year starter.
I actually liked Rich Rod and love the spread offense. If they had a defense during his last year there I truly think they would've kept him around a couple more years. It may have been interesting seeing the spread offense and a good defense.
I would love to see Arizona and Michigan hook up for a home and home series. Rich Rod was a huge failure at Michigan but he didn't leave the cupboard bare and let's face it Lloyd got out at a good time. RR can coach he won two BCS games against big time opponents while at WV. He was just a bad bad fit for Michigan. Kinda like John L Smith at State. Neither really made much sense. RR will win at Arizona in a very tough conference.

I agree with you on Michigan getting stomped by Alabama. I agree that State was the better team last year (and obviously previous years). However, Hoke did a heck of a job last season going 11-2 with the players from Rich Rod era. Michigan is almost back to the powerhouse form it was before Rich Rod screwed it all up. And the only half way cool thing about State is Sparty the mascot!! Lol!
LOL! All in good fun my friend! I would love to see an argument though not just the talking points from the simpleton Mike Hart. Say what you want about the validity of last season's schedule, MSU still played in the title game and beat scUM.
If you think Michigan is going to win the game against Alabama please give your reasons. I would happily give my reasons why Alabama will roll but I can't seem to get anybody to give me some solid reasons. Its all rah rah stuff!

Alabama offensive line will steamroll the michigan defensive front, the michigan offensive line will be overmatched by bama. Denard will be under pressure and denard cannot throw the ball worth a damn. This game will be a boring beatdown 38-0 bama wins.
Just when I was starting to like your input on Michigan you pull the excuses out. You sound like the typical state fan making excuses before the season starts about State's schedule being tougher and Michigan having an easier big ten schedule. But it's too bad State's winning ways only lasted during the Rich Rod era. Now its back to the Wolverine's being the "BIG BROTHER"!!!
Now that is really funny! What I find ironic about Michigan fans these days is they act just like Sparty fan did back when State sucked then won the Rose Bowl back in 1988.
Quite frankly, Michigan and Hoke had a cute season last year with Rich Rod's recruits. But the fact of the matter is, they lost by 2 TD's to State and didn't make it to the B1G title game with arguably the easiest schedule in the conference.
I just see this team a little shorter on talent than last year's squad with a much, much tougher schedule although they do manage to avoid Wisconsin again.
Listen, I'm not naive enough to believe that State will be as good as last season but the defense should be stellar and it isn't like the offense won't have some weapons.
Don't be surprised if 4 teams tie for the Legends Division. If Iowa can get good QB play they have an awfully easy schedule to get to the title game.
But yes, those were very valid points about Alabama. This game will be ugly. Here's another point-LSU only put up 3 against Alabama last year.

Here is why Michigan will win:
1)Michigan must replace nearly it's entire defensive line while Alabama only returns the best offensive line in college football.
2)Michigan has the messiah Brady Hoke while Alabama only has the best coach going in college football in Nick Saban.
3)Michigan has the most exciting player in college football in QB Denard Robinson while Alabama only has a QB that won a National Championship and had a higher QB rating than DR last season.
4)Michigan has the top rated recruiting class in the country for 2013 while Alabama has only had the top class in the country 4 out of the last 5 years.
5) Michigan plays in the Big Ten while Alabama plays in the weak SEC.
6)Michigan won the National Championship in 1997 while Alabama has only won 2 out of the last 3 BCS National Championships.
I guess I made my point. Oh wait, that is why Alabama will win this game.
I'm a huge Michigan fan but Alabama's defense is too fast and too aggresive for Michigan to do anything against. Denard will be non-existent in this game. Maybe 50 yards rushing and 80 yards passing with 3 picks. Can't just throw the ball up for grabs in this one. Final 31-3
