Airport is coming off of their first losing season (3-6) in 15 years as the Jets failed to make the playoffs for the first time since 1999. Coach Chad Baas is entering his 2nd year at the helm.
Offensively, the Jets will be led by three backs. Seniors Keagan Brinson and Robbie McGrath along with junior Dylan Meiring. The offensive line will be anchored by one of the best two way players in the Huron League in senior Tyler Girt.
The defense will be led by two defensive lineman in seniors Eddie Smith and Jarrold Brown. Seniors A.J. Goretski and Preston Baldock should give the Jets some depth. Girt and McGrath will also have an effect on the defensive side of the ball.
Airport once again will have a tough non-conference schedule with Adrian and Tecumseh. The Jets have enough talent to make some noise in the league, but much will depend on how the ball bounces this season. Prediction 4-5
Chris is right girt is a beast.. May not have enough stamina to go the whole game both ways tho
Well then shame on someone over there for playing their best player only one way..
I don't know how you get your information but your best two way player Tyler Girt does not play defense
Talk to us when we run the table.
