Milan got lucky last night with that rain delay, Riverview was looking pretty good last night.
I must say I am disappointed that we aren't going to get to listen to GI fans for the rest of the season. You got destroyed by Huron and are now irrelevant, again. UW

Looks like BN was right. Credit due to Huron's coaching staff for getting so many kids there to play. Lots of great football to come. If you haven't seen "When the Game Stands Tall," I highly recommend it. Go State and Go Lions!!!

Huron is the real deal, however 35-0 does not depict the actual margin of victory. Grosse Ile was stopped 5 times inside the huron 25…twice on 4th and 1. Hurons D made key stops along with a few GI holding penalties that just demoralized the devils.
huron had enough kids for three teams!!!

Huron ran the ball down their throats. Steady dose of Robinson and Hartwick. Long pass of 61 yards to Collins made it 28-0, then Robinson had another long run of 60 yards to set up the score that started the running clock.
Shoulder injury? Or something to do with his knee?

Almost the same thing happened last year when Milan's game against Ypsilanti was delayed until Saturday. The delay helped Milan a lot.
With GI down 28-0 Mitroka ran around the end on a 4th and 5. Huron had contain, he tried to leap and was hit pretty hard by two or three guys. He hit the ground hard with his shoulder. He didn't return, shoulder pads were immediately off and arm was in a sling. It didn't look good at all. Hope he is okay.
Milan may have gotten lucky with this delay. Riverview had control

With 5 minutes to go in the 1st half Huron led 21-0. GI appears to have no answer for Huron QB Matt Hartwick. Delay came at an opportune time.
Airport 14 Jefferson 8…. Airport scored the first 14 when a punt was fumbled by Airport. Jefferson scored. .30 left until 1/2 time before weather hold.
14-7 airport over jefferson. 48 seconds in half. Delayed.

I wouldn't say they getting stuffed. Other than a screen pass the view has not done much either. Milan will be fine. Had 4 or 5 false starts.
