  1. Airport has a lot of talent at skill positions. They're all freshmen. Too bad all that talent will be a waste in that Wing T offense they run. It's hard to watch!! If they want to succeed in the next couple years with the talent coming up they need to open it up.

  2. Huron was predicted to lose every game they played last year, to say that didn't beat anyone they shouldn't have beat is insane. The teams at huron always have decent talent, they just played to or above their potential last year obviously making it to the semi's

  3. …and you're basing this opinion on Huron's performance on JV versus their performance on Varsity? Really?

Seems to me that this coaching staff has their fingerprints on the improvement of Huron's football program at all levels. I bet they even had a hand in selecting and advising those great JV coaches as well. I'd leave well enough along if I were you…

    1. Exactly coachtom48160 if you watch the coaches at a huron JV game they walk to the varsity coaches along the fence at halftime and end of game and talk. EVERY GAME

  4. Huron needs a new varsity staff. Its quite clear. Tons of talent but cant beat anyone that is GOOD. They have never beaten a team they should not beat.

    1. You are one spoiled Huron fan. When Kalby took over you were the worst high school program in the state. Not in the area, in THE STATE. Last year you make the semis, I guess that wasn't good enough? And this year you still have a decent shot to make the playoffs. One of my best friends graduated from Huron in 2004 he was a starting LB for 2 years on varsity, he would've killed to play for this coaching staff. Trust me when I tell you it was and could be alot worse. EM

    2. You are definitely no Huron fan… Do you not realize what the records were at Huron before Kalby took over the program? Back to back 0-9 and maybe 1-8 seasons. When Huron finally started getting 4-5 seasons, that was still strides better than what Huron had prior and that excited all players. 5-4 seasons were heavenly. He has brought a dead program to life, gave it style, and did what many would've given up trying to do. He's the only coach in Hurons history to take that team to the playoffs.. He's been criticized when he's lost, and he's been congratulated when he's won. He's heard it all. But not once has he ever turned his back on the team. Everything he does it for the team. He's not perfect. No coach is. But he's done more for that school than anyone could ever hope for. If you feel as if you could do a better job? Go tell him. I'm sure he would LOVE to staff you on 7/8th grade teams or even Freshman, and then we can see how you would fair off as a coach since you think you know what's better. Smh

    1. I believe Airport has the best collection of freshman and sophomores in the league. Remember they have 6 sophomores on varsity.

    2. Flat rock has a ton of sophomores up too. Their better half of the offensive line are sophomores. Also have a running back up too. Seems like the tide is turning. Just look at those stands

  5. Huron JV with another dominating performance, it gives me chills to see what that class will do in the future.

    -Huron Alum

  6. Riverview #21 Very good player. Scored every point for Riverview. Could easily be on varsity. Captain on defense too. Don't see anyone beating them when they have a full squad. Riverview/Huron will be a very good game.

  7. Airport has plenty of skill position talent, most of them freshman. At first I thought man Airport's fullback is small, but then I remembered I was at the JV game and he's only a freshman LOL. EM
