Cortez Gray Milan, the senior RB/LB carried for 82 yards and 3 TD’s and also recorded 10 tackles in the Big Red’s 55-6 victory over Flat Rock.

Hunter Morse Huron, the junior kicker booted a school record 48 yard FG and also boomed 4 kick offs into the end zone in Huron’s 29-7 win over Airport.

Austin Burger SMCC, the senior QB/DB threw for 129 yards and 2 TD’s and also recorded 2 interceptions and a fumble recovery in the Falcon’s 14-12 victory over Riverview.

Nick Humphrey Jefferson, the junior RB ran for 197 yards and 2 TD’s in the Bears 21-18 upset victory over Grosse Ile.

  1. As I said over a month ago when the question was who would you choose if starting a team . DALE MIDKIFF of HURON .Huge kid 6'5" 275lbs. very athletic & outstanding student.

  2. I know Huron lost a good kicker from last year and I figured that could be a position of concern, not so much. Chris from were I was sitting it looked like that kick would be good from 55 yards and it's always a luxury when your kicker puts it in the endzone almost every kickoff. EM

  3. Having a solid kicker is such an asset in hs football. Being able to boot 40+ field goals is a game-changer. On top of that, forcing the other team to start at their own 20 every series gives Huron a great advantage. That just makes them even scarier this year.

  4. Burger has looked very good on both sides of ball in both games. He had big shoes to fill and I think he has played up to the level of the last star that was there so far.
