FNV Team Coverage?

Friday Night Victors will be upping the ante this year and will be covering as many teams as we can from the state of Michigan. We normally cover 16 teams from southern Wayne and all of Monroe counties. This website/blog (since 2009) has always been about the kids and we are going to try and get them as much positive coverage as possible this year, especially after the craziness of the pandemic and the cancellation/postponing of part of the season

If you would like your team covered this year, we will need some help. We would like to write previews for as many teams as possible, but we do need info on each team.

Please have your head coach or AD email us at: fridaynightvictors@gmail.com with the school name and 2020 preview in the subject line along with the words, “we would like to be covered” in the body. We will verify the head coach’s name and email address, while then reaching out.

We understand that coaches are crazy busy this time of year. We will simply be asking for some information regarding this year’s team, a few photos and then a follow-up email after each game if possible. Once we have initial contact from the head coach or AD, we will allow his or her designee to be our point of contact if desired.

This years format will include division top ten rankings in Michigan each week along with our usual staff picks, player of the week write-ups, game previews, scores, game summaries and much more.

We will also try and do our podcast and videos that come out weekly, but these will most likely be done remotely with zoom or something else. Our four guys talking football show, which usually airs on Fridays at 6:30 pm on 98.3 Nash Icon out of Monroe will most likely be put on hiatus this year because of Covid studio limitations.

Here is the thing: If we don’t get much interest outside of our normal coverage area, we will just stick with our normal 16 teams while possibly adding a few teams right around the same geographical area that we already cover.

We would ask that you please follow us on Twitter @FNVictors and Instagram @fnvictors Feel free to click the links below or click the social media icons down at the bottom of the page.
