Week 6 Player of the Week Nominees

By Frank Vajcner

Each week, I will go through the box scores of all of our teams and pick four players whom I will turn to you, the people, to determine our HH Designs Player of the Week.

There are a lot of choices in a given week, so narrowing them down to four is a challenge in itself. If you have anyone in particular to nominate, hit me up on Twitter. That will actually help me out, as my Friday nights are busy with officiating.

You can then vote in our Twitter poll @FNVictors to determine the final outcome.

Without further ado…

Trey Brueggeman, RB, Bedford: Brueggeman picked up where he left off last week, as he rushed for 215 yards and a score in a 28-14 win over Monroe.

Zach Lindsay, RB, Ida: Lindsay rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries in Ida’s 49-22 win over Onsted.

Rory Callahan, DE/TE, Huron: Callahan followed up a strong performance last week on the offensive side with one on the defensive side. The Central Michigan recruit recorded four sacks from his defensive end position, and also had two catches for 66 yards and a score from his tight end position in the Chiefs’ 27-0 win over Grosse Ile.

Jack Mills, RB, Airport: Mills rushed for 144 yards and a touchdown in Airport’s 51-14 rout of Jefferson

Honorable Mention: Jacob Shank, RB, Riverview; Gavin Moczydlosky, QB, Huron; Shea Ruddy, QB, Whiteford, Omari Carter, RB, Carlson; Malachi Pribyl, RB, Jefferson; Toomy Huss DE Bedford; SMCC Defense

      1. I know a player who had 9 carries for 120 yds & 3 TDS in the first half. Didn’t see the field in the 2nd half, offensively. Many stars out there!

  1. You need to start looking at more D players for player of the week. Not just offense. Looks like your just looking at the number of yards .
