Grosse Ile finished 4-5 last season and finished with a losing record for the first time in 5 years. The Red Devils are led by long time coach Jon Bodner.
Offensively Grosse Ile will be led by senior QB Justin Moores who threw for for over 1,150 yards and 12 TD’s last season. Rugged senior RB Andrew Vollmerhausen will be the main ball carrier.
On defense, the Red Devils are led by 3 year DL starter Dominic Trombley. He along with senior DL Mike Simone will give the islanders a solid defense. Senior DB Josh Moskall returns in the defensive backfield.
Grosse Ile has loads of experience back, but still lacks depths. Any injuries and a promising season could turn into a long one on the island. Grosse Ile opens at home on Friday as the host the Panthers of Parma jackson County Western. Prediction: 5-2 League, 5-4 Overall

Yes, I saw both in scrimmages. Parma threw the ball all over the place. They are very good. Garden City was huge and athletic. Much, much improved.
