• Flat Rock's defense doesn't appear to be a strength, so I believe Airport should be able to run effectively to setup the deep shots to #8. Flat Rock's QB is a stud and nearly carried them to victory against Airport last year. Gimme the Jets in another close one 28-20.

• I see 4 big upsets this week;

  Flat Rock 22, Airport 21 The Rams go for 2 and win

  Whiteford beats Clinton 24-22

  Ida defeats Hillsdale 32-27

  Dundee beats BCC 24-21

  Stats and common opponents say differently but any given Friday night, a team can step up prove the doubters wrong. All these teams are well coached. My picks have caught some bad breaks this year but I can see it happening.

  SMCC wins 32-28 over GI, this could be a trap game
  Sand Creek wins in a shootout, two high powered offenses
  Riverview wins 16-14 over a Jefferson team thats tougher than their record shows

  • I'm with you on this one. For some reason I have always dreaded going to Hillsdale but for some reason I have that good feeling in my tummy today. If our leaders step up and lead this team and play as a team we will be victorious!!

• -Carlson and Harper Woods in a back and forth game, Carlson scores on late and hangs on 42 - 36.

  - BCC at Dundee, too much speed at BCC 30 - 18

  - Ida at Hillsdale, Ida has turned up the offense as of late. Look for a shoot out and the home team to lands the final blow 49 - 41 Hillsdale.

  - Blissfield has too much fire power for Mason. Royals win 42 - 28.

  - Summerfield travels to Sand Creek at a bad time. The Aggies look to take out some frustration from last week 44 - 27.

  - Riverview looks to string a couple wins together against the bears 35 - 14

  - Airport looks to take flight to gain some momentum going into their week 8 match up. Do they get caught looking ahead against a talented flat rock team who needs to win out. Weather plays a factor in this one. If the forecast is correct it benefits the jets 35 -28.

  - Huron travels to Milan. Can't pick against Milan at this point 49 - 21 Big Reds roll.

  - GI comes down from the island to take on the Falcons who might have a little bit of revenge on their mind from last year. Difference is Falcons are actually healthy this year and the islanders (devils) don't have the same offensive weapons as last year. Falcons get up early and roll 42 - 14.

  - Monroe takes out their frustrations on AA Huron 30 - 12

  - Bedford lost a heart breaker last week, but draw the task of heading up to Ann Arbor Pioneer. I don't see Brown and co losing two in a row, Bedford in a close one 34 - 27.

  - Whiteford travels to Clinton, where they are trying to take TCC crown. They have to take it from the reigning champs. Clinton wins 42 - 36

  • Ida doesn’t have a kicker. Where does the 41 come from? A rouge?

    • Extra points aren’t automatic in high school. Could be a miss or failed 2 pt conversion.

      • I think he is saying that the score would have to be an even number if they dont have a kicker.

        I havent looked, my number might be an odd number as well
