Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard (FGR) finished the 2019 season at 5-5. The Fighting Irish fell to Whitmore Lake in the 2019 Pre-District. Matt Giarmo is in his second season at the program that has qualified for the playoffs 10 of the last 12 seasons. FGR plays in the Catholic League’s AA Division.

Coaches’ Comment: We have a young team but experience in the backfield. We will look to improve week to week and compete in the non-conference and a difficult league schedule.
FNV Outlook: The Irish have had quite a successful run over the last decade or so. The non-league portion of the schedule appears manageable, but the CHSL portion of the schedule will be tough while including Divine Child, Loyola and UD Jesuit. Look for Jack Smith, George White and Griffen Kaiser to get a bulk of carries in the Irish run happy Straight T offense.
