SITOFN you are a dingus for thinking that GI will even come close to beating airport this year. You have a decent quarterback and who else? Airport has a solid offense even without mays and an outstanding defense with returning starters. Watch out for corner 21 and linebackers 36 40 44. peace

I do seem to recall a 5th or 6th place league finish was the popular pick for Airport in this blog last year. So finishing tied for 2nd wasnt too shabby. I said 6-3 last year only gettin 1 game wrong (Riverview). This year no worse than 7-2.

Airport only losst 1 game they shouldnt have last yea(Riverview). For some reason they didnt show up for that one. All their other losses were very predictable.

A down year with a player that could score everytime he touched the ball? Didn't he win OPOTY? FR started and depended on 5 soph. and still hung in there with airport, erie,ida, GI, and milan. Don't know what u call a 14-0 halftime 21-6 3rd qtr lead and a late score in the fourth but I call it a close game….get your nose out of the air it stinks.
Thank you for the history lesson on the FR/Airport series. Unfortunately I have only followed the group of sophmores (now juniors) since their eighth grade year and the games those years have been respectfully close 12 -6…28-14….28-6…I understand that only varsity matters and that there are many other variables to take into account over the years. So I guess what should of been stated is that the up and coming talent at airport is overrated and that I expect the next couple of years to be much more competitive. Sorry if that sounds "dumb" …….rams

White looked good last year but… Airports QB tossed up 3 and ran for 2 as a sophomore. Maybe some defense from either team this year…?

Some of these people are cracking me up. Pickin Airport at 4-5 just makes you look stupid. Defense will be much improved after starting mostly juniors and a couple sophomores. Mays will be missed but Jones and Shumake will do just fine. Watch out for Adam Donnelly movin up from jv, kids a beast. And this just in, Potcova is gonna have a monster year. Airport will be favored vs everybody except Bedford & CC. 7-2 at the worst.
Only way GI are in playoffs is if they buy tickets.

Run defense needs to improve from last year. If the running game can get half of May's production and pass protection improves they're in good shape. They can't get any smaller from last year.
Airport should finish around 6-3 with a shot to do a little better. I believe their defense was very young last year with numerous sophomores starting.
