  1. News Hearld Crappy job??… that might be a stretch, but they certainly could do better.

Remember that Trenton, Wyandotte, Woodhaven, Taylor, AP, LP, Gib, Southgate and others are more "central" to their distribution so I understand the "spotty" coverage of downriver schools in the HL.

It is tough on GI, FR, View being "outside" the downriver leagues when it comes to press even though they are squarely within their central distribution.

So, "crappy job", no….but room for improvement, I think so.

    whuzup bro!!….SITOFN

  2. Was I trolling on mlive. Do you mean marketing? I was marketing. Works every time. I get many of the mlive elite on here even though they won't admit it. They rip the blog on mlive but I can trace their paths here all day. I love it.

  3. The downriver news herald does a crappy job of covering huron league football, chris and sitofn and craig m do you agree?

WOW….Your post is WAAAAAYYYYY out in left field….HOMERUN!!

Please tell us what blog you have been reading so we can all go there for some entertainment and read my post where I "rip on him and tell everybody that a bunch of other players on the team are much better than he is". Utter Garbage.

TO BE CLEAR: I fully support Mr. White and love to watch him play.

In fact, he plays with HUGE emotion and skill and would be all league at just about any position…. just so happens he can pitch the pigskin pretty good;)

Like Mr. Kish…he should probably play a little D too. He'll smack ya.

It's irresponsible, speculative posts like that one which Chris could/should dump.

Sorry Chris, but that one was OVER THE TOP.

  5. Lets settle down there SITOFN we heard the winds of change a couple of years ago with a shutout of Western… although they may not be the same as Onsted… still a shutout and what happened there??

  6. Player of the week on GI's D.. "TEEE Judd"… whodathunkit??

GI O player of the week "Mr. White" for rushing and he's the best passer in the HL by a stretch. Strong Kish performance again too.

Passing game still under wraps too….who you gonna stop; White, Kish'er or Nelly on the ground? Is it gonna be run or pass? And the D seems to be showing signs of life to boot.

    Can you hear the winds……

  7. I thought it looked good. Much better than Riverview's version. Huron was able to get too much penetration for it to be effective.

I'm not sure if you can trap out of the single wing but that could have possibly kept Huron off balance a bit.

  8. what did erie masons single wing offense look like? Did they run it as well as menominee? Or did they run it like riverview did back in 2007-2008.

  9. Pretty much, they brought the sophomore back up QB in with 9 minutes to go in the 3rd qtr with Huron up 28-0. Wasn't the best situation for the kid. He took over two straight series inside his own 5 yard line.

Huron's defense played well. Probably the best defense they will have had since Kabby took over the program. Good speed and size on the front 7. Solid speed (tracksters) in the secondary.

Special teams play was bad by the Chiefs and will must likely be a point of emphasis this week for them.

Erie Mason looked improved. They played pretty well defensively. They like to hit. Crespi was the difference. He is big and fast.

  10. Question Chris, did Huron shut it down and play vanilla ball not wanting to show cc anything or did mason play somewhat tough? I expected Huron to win by more, which is why I ask.
