Riverview (3-2) is coming off of a 42-7 win over Jefferson while Huron (2-3) lost at Milan 47-21. Huron won last year’s league game 24-20 along with a playoff game against the Pirates 40-21. Riverview leads 35-7 in all-time games.
Riverview is on the upswing in recent weeks.The defense continues to be solid. Tyler Chase leads a defense that is give up 13 ppg. The offense is led by senior workhorse RB Eric Gant.
Huron needs to turn the ship around this week. The defense has been less than stellar while the offense has been sporadic at best.
This is a big game for both teams. A loss will all but eliminate the Chiefs from the playoffs while a loss by the Pirates would force them to win out against a tough remaining schedule. Pick: Huron 21 Riverview 20

I have seen all the teams in the league. The only team that currently can beat Riverview is Milan. Riverview destroyed Airport and Jefferson with their 2nd string in at halftime. The QB has improve tremendously and all the kinks are worked out of the kicking game. I'm sure everybody has improved week to week, but I believe Riverview has improved the most. I was on the sideline for a Riverview game, they are extremely physical.
Just because the re-match was the same last year, doesn't mean its automatically the same everytime there KC. That's like saying since Flat Rock beat Airport and Airport beat Jefferson, now Flat Rock will beat Jefferson. Don't think so.
Huron is a great program, has made tons of strides, but not as good as last year. Unfortunately predictions this year were based on last years team. Not as good as we all thought. It is what it is.

Well 40-21 wasn't technically the same as 24-20. And your hypothetical was a bit off. Huron won both times. I didn't say if you lose one, you'd win another. Chances are if you win once, you'll win again; as it was shown last year. But again, what do I know. Go Chiefs! I'm gonna say 24-21 Huron; since Riverview has their kicking game kinks worked out. All that talk doesn't matter. That game is done and over with. It's time to look at who you have next and Huron is a very good team. Riverview better bring its A game because Huron is going to be ready for a fight.

Huron will throw all day against riverview. Riverview's pass defense is suspect and I believe that is how Huron wins the game. Huron 28 Riverview 14.
Don't see Huron beating Riverview. I have seen both teams play against cc and Riverview was right there while Huron was not even close. Not sure Huron is as good as I thought they were.
There is no way Huron will beat Riverview. Sorry. Riverview has become a machine. They are clicking well. Definitely would beat SMCC in a rematch and would be very close to Milan. Huron will not beat them. Offense is better each week and defense swarms like no team I have seen so far.

Also the whole "rematch View would win" is false. Huron and Riverview last year duked it out in league play an left it close. 24-20; their rematch in the playoffs was a blow out 40-21. But what do I know. CC has already steam rolled most of the contending league except for Milan yet. They would certainly steam roll View once more.
